Contaminated cannabis is being sold on the street and in unlicensed dispensaries around NYC. ⚠️
According to the New York Medical Cannabis Industry Association, salmonella, lead, E. coli and other potentially harmful bacteria and substances were shown to be present in almost 40% of cannabis products purchased from unlicensed dispensaries. These contaminants can cause illness and infection in the human body. In other cases, the cannabis in question tested positive for fentanyl, which is a synthetic opioid that is 50-100x stronger than morphine.
